Mitch and Carrie Ann Engagement

Knowing Carrie Ann and her heart of gold makes this special engagement session better than it could ever be.

I met Carrie Ann a few years ago, and have photographed her family several times. She is the kindest soul you would ever meet. Giving her whole heart to each person she comes in contact with. She is wise, and very organized. Her personality is such a breath of fresh air to be around.

I saw her post on instagram about her surprise engagement and my heart leaped for joy.

Seeing over time, as her relationship had grown with Mitch, I knew this would be the result. Then, when she reached out to me to be their photographer, I wished I could hug her.

She wanted to do engagement pictures where Mitch proposed, on the river in Columbia, SC.

As we arrived by the river I could feel the romance.

I tell you, there is something about slow dancing on a rock by the glently trickling downstream.

The pictures speak for themselves, but I will say this:

Just simply, a love deep, carved into one another’s heart.

That is exactly what I could feel.
