Catherine and Kyle are currently located in Johns Island South Carolina, but chose to host their wedding at a middle spot that was convenient for both of their families. Empire Mills was the perfect location. The rustic and elegant charm allowed for modern setting while the details chosen brought full romance to the event.
Catherine chose a color palette of french blues, blush, dusty pink, and rust. Arazia Florals designed romantic floral pieces reminiscent of a modern beauty and the beast ( at least that is what it reminded me of). Scroll down to read more about this gorgeous day!
The lace in Catherine’s dress and shoes brought in a french country romance to her old hollywood glam look. We loved her torn paper invitation suite and place cards. Kyle had a custom bow tie and feather pin made for his suit.
ALL THE DETAILS
Kyle’s relationship with his mother was so sweet. You could tell that they love to have a good time a laugh together. What I loved most about Kyle was his stately appearance. He has this GQ, old world look that is so classy.
GETTING READY FOR THE BIG DAY…
The bridal suite at Empire Mills was a photographers dream. The white walls combined with rows of windows allowed for so much natural light. Catherine and her mother shared a sweet unspoken bond of strength with one another. The level of care each has for the other was a beautiful and calm feeling during the quiet moments before the business of the day started.
Catherine surprised her mother with a Charleston gate bracelet. The iconic gates of Charleston have been embraced in jewelry, making for the perfect collectors pieces.
Guys will be guys and we love it! Kyle and his groomsmen were so relaxed, enjoying their favorite drinks and sharing their favorite memories.
Catherine added the feathers to her bridesmaids PJ’s.
BRIDE + GROOM FIRST LOOK
We chose to do the bride reveal in a side room with the piano. It added a romantic and old world feel to the modern and industrial room. Kyle’s nerves immediately disappeared when he layed eyes on his glamourous bride.
The sweetest moments with the bride and groom. They enjoyed their quiet and slow time together before the ceremony.
Black and white will never be a bad idea.
THE CEREMONY
Catherine has several nieces and nephews and chose to have them all walk down the isle before her. It was precious!

COCKTAIL HOUR + RECEPTION
One of the best details of the day was the table number stand. Catherine made the shelves out of an old ladder and Araiza Florals brought the romantic vision to life. Each of the guests were able to keep the bud vases as a wedding favor.
The Emerald Empire Band rocked the night away!
